Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to wear Grip Socks?
Yes. Grip socks are mandatory for all of our classes for hygiene and safety purposes. We sell MoveActive grip socks at our reformer studio for $22.95 or 2 pairs for $40.
Can I come to your studio if I’ve never done reformer Pilates before?
Absolutely! We are a boutique studio with only 6 carriages so we are able to modify exercises to suit all levels of ability.
Can I come to classes if I’m pregnant?
We recommend not attending during your first trimester. Pilates is safe and the best thing you can do during your second and third trimester to prepare your body for birth and postpartum. Please make sure you have clearance from your midwife/GP.
Postpartum, you need to wait for medical clearance after your 6 week check up to return.
What is your class cancellation policy?
All our classes have a 12 hour cancellation window. If you cancel 12 hours prior to your class your class credit will automatically be reapplied to your account. If you cancel after the 12 hour window closes, pack holders will lose their credit, membership holders will incur a $10 late cancellation fee.
Do you have a no show fee?
Yes. If you do not attend a booking and do not advise the studio beforehand, whether you are a pack holder or membership, you will be charged a $20 no show fee.
How does the waitlist work?
If a class is booked you can join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, and you are first on the list, you will be automatically moved into the class. You will be notified via email/text of this movement. If you no longer want to attend or are unable to make it to the class, please remove yourself from the waitlist or the same late cancellations and no show fees apply.
If you do not make it off the waitlist then the credit is automatically reapplied to your account.
